A Happy and Successful 2020 Cango Chairy Bazaar Celebrating Christmas and New Year

On December 30th, in collaboration with Cango offices in Shandong, Hefei, Nanjing, Shenyang, Guangzhou and Hubei, Cango Shanghai hosted the 2020 Cango Charity Bazaar celebrating Christmas and New Year. Funds raised at this charity market will be forwarded to Cango Charity Plan’s designated account to be used for Cango CSR-related events in 2021. 

At the market venue set up at Cango’s headquarters in Shanghai, eight vendors brought catering as well as interactive and skill development games. Special activities were added this year including Deity of Wealth + Santa + Misses Christmas going through the buildings to deliver candies, Secret Santa gift exchange, regional live streaming sales and on-site lottery drawing. While “eating, drinking and having fun” to celebrate Christmas and New Year, Cango employees are contributing to children’s welfare through small charitable gestures.

Established in 2019, Cango CSR focuses on caring for orphaned and impoverished children and children with disabilities, and it is dedicated to helping them change their lives. Since its establishment, Cango CSR has donated more than 1.5 million yuan through Beijing Chunhui Children’s Foundation to bring more than 10 orphans and children with disabilities to Shanghai for medical treatment in order to improve their chances of being adopted. Cango CSR actively participates in various charity events hosted by other organizations (such as Egg Walkathon and J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge) so as to inspire Cango volunteers to be directly involved in charity efforts. At the end of 2020, in collaboration with Bairen Benevolent Foundation, Cango CSR launched the Rural Education Support Campaign to build book corners for children attending elementary schools in remote areas in Yunnan and Guizhou.
